About TJEE Medical
The Tripura joint Entrance Examinations Board was formed for Admission to Engineering Degree Colleges, Medical Colleges, and other professional degree courses.
Born out of a concept of holding a common admission test for the Engineering colleges and Medical Colleges. The basic purpose was to select candidates for consideration for admission to the Colleges on the basis of the results of a single competitive examination, which would also lead to saving of time, energy and expenditure on the part of the candidates in appearing at number of entrance tests.
There will be 3 different exams of 2 hour duration each – one each for Physics, Chemistry & Biology.
Each paper will have 50 questions.
Each correct answer carries 2 marks. There is no negative marking.
(a) Candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of his/her admission.
Upper age limit is 25 years and there is a further relaxation of 3 years incase of OBC/SC/St candidates.
(b) Candidates must have studies Physics, chemistry, Biology & English in Class 12th and should have an aggregate of over 60% in PCB.
(c) Candidate should be a permanent resident / domicile of Tripura and should be residing in the State for a minimum period of 10 years prior to the exam.
Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination has announced a new syllabus from TJEE 2016 onwards.
