Planning to Study MBBS in Abroad: Expert Says to Be Careful

Due to the tough eligibility criteria in India such as passing NEET, students from India are preferring to study MBBS in abroad. Experts warn aspirants to be careful amid the attractive promises being made by the foreign medical institutions.

Medical aspirants these days are busy in finding their seats in medical colleges and at the same time, education agents are offering attractive deals to make them study MBBS in abroad nations. National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) which has been announced as one door entry for the Indian medical aspirants have unlocked the diverse options to escape it. It has made the job of education agents easier and they are attracting the aspirant on the name of escaping the hardships of NEET and avail easy admission process.

However, it is also true that the MBBS abroad consultants warn the students to make research at their own end but students are so much in the hurry that they make wrong decisions. After getting a degree from a fake or unrecognized college or university, they are only left to repent.

The main fact is that NEET has limited the number of seats for aspirants belonging to different states of India. And, thus there has been a great demand in the foreign interest of the students to establish their dream career. Education experts at this point suggest crossing check the authenticity of the colleges that whether they have been recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI) or not. It is important for both students and parents as well.

Without an MCI recognition of the degree obtained from a private university is considered to be invalid in India.

After the introduction of NEET in India, MBBS Abroad agents are witnessing an increase in a number of students going abroad for MBBS degree. MBBS admission consultants are making the things easier and helping the students in getting hassle free admission. Students and parents are having the advantage of affordable MBBS course fees. Medical colleges in Russia have become the topmost destination for Indian medical aspirants to study MBBS in abroad. There is a growing demand of MBBS in China for Indian students. China Medical University is one among the most preferred and reputed one.

It is not a good sign and Indian government should take appropriate action to develop infrastructure for the medical education to avoid this dependency.

Many of the students from India are seeking admission to the Russian universities. A 30 percent increase has been recognized as compared to last year statistics. The MCI coaching being provided by the university as part of their course curriculum make the students ready to pass the MCI test in India and even the MBBS course fees in Russia is very low as compared to other colleges.

But what experts suggest is really important. They ask the parents to do the required homework when they are going to finalize the education destination for their children. Parents need to find out the pros and cons of pursuing MBBS in abroad and they should also consider whether their children will remain suitable in the Abroad cultural practices.
