NEET 2017: Tamil Nadu Government desperately trying to get 1 year exemption
The Tamil Nadu Government is trying very hard to implement it’s proposed policy of reservation of 85% seats under state quota for candidates who appeared in Class 12th from Tamil Nadu State Board.
The Madras High Court has also dismissed TN Government’s appeal and has directed the authorities to complete the admission procedure immediately as per MCI guidelines.
The State Health Minister had meetings with Union Health Minister and also with the Prime Minister and submitted a copy of the ordinance seeking exemption from NEET for the candidates from the state of Tamil Nadu.
The legislations passed earlier this year are awaiting President’s approval.
All this is creating confusion, panic and stress amongst parents and students and they are looking at opportunities to study MBBS Abroad. MBBS Admissions abroad are MCI approved and without any entrance exam which is attracting these candidates.
Value of MBBS abroad degree is same as degree awarded in India and MBBS in Europe is a preferred destination as a European Medical Degree has great value in India.
