Tamil Nadu Government officials today had a meeting with the Union Commerce Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and urged her to take initiative so that Tamil Nadu State gets exemption from NEET for MBBS & BDS admissions in the state.
The delegates at the meeting included Deputy speaker in Lok Sabha M Thambidurai and Tamil Nadu health minister C Vijayabaskar,
Government wants MBBS admissions in the state to be conducted through the old system wherein Class 12 marks of a student were taken into account.
The legislative bills moved in February year are awaiting President’s consent.
This confusion in the state MBBS 2017 admissions is increasing anxiety amongst MBBS aspirants and many of them are taking MBBS Admission Abroad.
