KNHSU to start NEET 2017 Online Counseling Process from 28.7.2017

Kaloji Narayana Rao Health Sciences University will start online web counseling for MBBS admissions from 28 July 2017. This date was announced after the release of final merit list.

Nearly 84,500 students had appeared for NEET 2017 from the state and and the merit list had 6,450 student names.

The initial phase of counseling will be only for candidates from General and SC/ST/OBC category. Counseling dates for admission under sports quota is yet to be announced.

This year 9 MBBS Colleges in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have been debarred to give admissions by MCI as they failed to comply with MCI guidelines. Due to this many students from the region are applying for MBBS admission abroad.

To study MBBS abroad there is no entrance exam. However it is valid in India only after a student clears MCI Screening Test. Many students from Andhra Pradesh go for MBBS in Bangladesh every year.
