MBBS Admission 2017 Latest News: 2 Rounds Counseling done, 90% seats in Deemed Universities vacant

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) today released the list of vacant seats after the 2nd round of counseling for deemed Universities in India.

In the 2nd round only 800 students joined 42 Universities.

Admission in deemed Universities is not being preferred by students as the cost of doing MBBS in these Universities is anything between 90 lacs to 1.25 crores.

MBBS Abroad can be done from as low as Rs. 16 lac onwards (full course) including all expenses from MCI approved Foreign Medical Universities and therefore it makes sense to study MBBS abroad.

In the 3rd round of counseling, which is also known as mop up round, there will be nearly 7,400 vacant seats available for medical aspirants.

Counseling for 3rd round will start from 24 August 2017 and last date to confirm seat by making payment is 28 August, 2017.
