Jalalabad State University honours Toppers


Jalalabad State University situated in Kyrgyzstan yesterday organized a function to honor the toppers of the final year exams.

A grand ceremony was organized in the University auditorium where these students were awarded scholarships which were in the form of:

Fee waiver for next year ranging from 10% to 100%.

  • Free access / distribution of books for next year.
  • Acceptance as an International exchange student and the student will get an opportunity to visit a Medical University in another country as an exchange student.

Dr. Shoaib, Vice Dean of International Students was the Chief Guest at the Ceremony.

25 Toppers were honored out of which 15 students were Indians. Akansha Saini of 2nd year from India ranked 2nd from India in these 25 students and she has been awarded 100% fee waiver for her 3rd year studies. Her younger sister who has completed her 12th this year is also planning to do MBBS in Kyrgyzstan at Jalalabad State University and she has been given 15% tuition fee waiver for 1st year as a gesture of goodwill by the Vice Dean of the University.

Jalalabad State University in Kyrgyzstan is a reputed and MCI approved Government Medical University in Kyrgyzstan.

The University collaborates with many foreign medical countries in countries like China, Sweden, Germany, Spain, Italy, France, USA, Canda, Australia, New Zealand etc. and the students who have been shortlisted will get an opportunity to visit Medical Universities in these countries which will be beneficial for them as they stand to get good international exposure.

Jalalabad State University in Kyrgyzstan is very popular with Indian students. Many Indian students are doing MBBS in Kyrgyzstan at Jalalabad State University.

Every year atleast 2,000 students from India go to study MBBS in Kyrgyzstan. In this University there are approximately 500 Indian students presently pursuing their MBBS studies.
