MBBS Abroad Latest News: NIOS Certificate holder’s not eligible for MBBS Abroad

On August 9th, 2017 Medical Council of India (MCI) has issued a circular stating candidate’s who have done Class 11 & 12 from National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) are not eligible to do MBBS abroad as they have not undergone practical examination.

No eligibility certificates will be issued to study MBBS abroad from 2017-18 academic year onwards.

State Open School (SOS) Certificate holders will also not be eligible to apply for MBBS admission abroad eligibility certificate.

The eligibility certificate is a legal proof given by the MCI that the medical university, which the student attends to study MBBS abroad, is authorized by the medical education regulator.
