MBBS 2017 Admissions – Madras High Court Says No Reserved seats for TN Board Students
The Madras High Court on Monday gave judgment and dismissed the appeal filed by Tamil Nadu Government to reserve 85% of the MBBS seats in Tamil Nadu for students of the state who have appeared in Class 12th fom Tamil Nadu State Board.
The Court also directed the Government to ensure the admission process fo academic session 2017-18 is completed by 31st August.
This order brings relief to students and parents as Tamil Nadu is the only state in India where MBBS admission process for 2017 is yet to begin.
Due to this delay, some students had already taken MBBS Admission Abroad and have now decided to wait for counseling instead of proceeding to study MBBS Abroad.
