MBBS Admissions 2017: India and Abroad
The process of MBBS admissions in India to allot seats for the various MBBS Colleges in India.
Students who appeared for NEET 2017 conducted by CBSE and have secured a rank in the merit list in the State Quota or All India quota are eligible for NEET Counselling 2017.
There are generally 3 rounds of counselling sessions for MBBS admissions. This year there are around 11.38 lac aspirants who appeared for NEET 2017 and nearly 6.39 lac candidates have qualified NEET 2017. The cut off rank for NEET 2017 counselling for general candidates is 131.
If after 2nd round of counselling 15% All India quota seats are not filled then these seats are transferred to the various seats and the seats are allotted through NEET State counselling.

Students should consider joining MCI coaching classes in 1st year itself of his/her joining MBBS College in abroad.

MBBS in Russia is also attracting a lot of Indian students as it also offers low cost MBBS colleges approved by MCI.
