MBBS ADMISSISON 2017 LATEST NEWS KERALA – MBBS ASPIRANTS SHOCKED MCI DENIES PERMISSION TO 6 MEDICAL COLLEGES FOR 2017 ACADEMIC SESSION
On 25th July 2017 the Medical Council of India (MCI) denied permission to 6 Private Medical Colleges in Kerala State and said they cannot give admissions for MBBS in their 2017-18 academic session to any student. The decision has been taken in view of the insufficient and inadequate infrastructure facilities at these Colleges.
Kannaur Medical College has been granted permission for only 100 MBBS seats instead of 150 seats which they had last year.
As a result of this decision Kerala will have 800 less seats and many students may opt for MBBS abroad to fulfill their dream to become a Doctor.
DM Wayanad Institute of Medical Sciences at Wayanad has been debarred for 2 years.
As a result of this students have already started making enquires for MBBS admission abroad.
