About AIIMS MBBS Entrance Exam 2019
All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) was established under an Act of Parliament in 1956.
AIIMS as an autonomous institution of national importance, and by virtue of this Act, the Institute awards its own medical degrees and other academic distinctions.
The degrees awarded by the Institute under the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Act are recognized medical qualifications for the purpose of the Indian Medical Council Act and notwithstanding anything contained therein, are deemed to be included in the first schedule of that Act, entitling the holders to the same privileges as those attached to the equivalent awards from the recognized Universities of India.
The Institute at New Delhi is a residential University where the faculty member, staff & students live on campus. There are 8 hostels for Undergraduate students (6 for boys & 2 for girls) and they can accommodate 850 students.
AIIMS conducts it’s own entrance exam every year for admission to the MBBS and other Health Science related programs.
MBBS admissions at AIIMS are not through the merit list of NEET score.
The entrance exam will be conducted for the following 9 AIIMS in India:
New Delhi, Patna, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Jodhpur, Raipur, Rishikesh, Nagpur & Guntur
Candidates are required to fill AIIMS 2019 Application Form on official website – AIIMS EXAMS DOT ORG.
Candidates who are appearing for NEET 2019 will not be eligible for MBBS admission at AIIMS.
